Oscar-Winning Songwriter Hal David Dies at 91
Songwriter Hal David has passed away in Los Angeles at the age of 91
He died of complications due to a stroke, according to a statement from the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers.

His wife, Eunice David, told the Associated Press that he had also suffered a major stroke earlier this year in March.
She added that his illness had not lessened his enthusiasm for music.
‘Even at the end, Hal always had a song in his head,’ she said.
