Needle Found In Sandwich On An Air Canada Flight
A needle was found in a sandwich on an Air Canada flight from Victoria, British Columbia to Toronto. Peter Fitzpatrick, a spokesman for Air Canada, said today that the airline is ‘working closely with our caterers to ensure heightened security measures have been put in place’.
The needle was found in the sandwich on Monday. Mr Fitzpatrick said a police investigation was under way and they have not received any reports of similar incidents.
Last month, the world’s largest airline food caterer was subject to an FBI investigation after needles found their way into turkey sandwiches on four international flights.
