Michael Phelps Wins Record 19th Olympic Medal
The U.S. Men won gold in the 4 x 200m Freestyle Relay as Michael Phelps captured his 19th medal (15th of which are gold) becoming the most decorated Olympian of all time. The record was previously held by Ukrainian gymnast, Larissa Latynina, as she won her 18th medal at Tokyo in 1964. Nearly a half century later, Phelps who’s dominated swimming for over a decade, now becomes the greatest Olympian of all time at the age of 27.
