A Houston Female Cop Suspended for Posting Racy Photos of Herself on a Popular Modeling Site
The photos, some of which are completely nude, could cost Stacey Suro her job, sources told KRPC-TV.
Suro, 42, had posted more than 100 photos to the website ModelMayhem, which serves as a forum for both amateur and professional models and photographers. In some of the photos Suro was dressed in bondage gear or posed in “sexually suggestive” positions, KRPC reported.
Suro, a single mother, also clearly stated she was a model for hire.
Her profile has been removed.
After word of the photos got out last week, Suro was relieved of duty while internal affairs investigated the matter.
The Houston Police Department has declined to comment.
Department policies stipulate that “employees shall exhibit professional conduct at all times and shall not engage in any activity, including unlawful activity that would degrade or bring disrespect upon the employee or the department.”
Officers are also required to disclose other jobs outside of work. It was unclear if Suro had told the department she was a paid model.
Houston Police Officers’ Union told KRPC that Suro is a member of the union, but says she has not come into their office to ask for legal representation.
