2 Chainz Says He’s Bringing “Club Energy” & “Feel Good Energy” With New Song & Album

Following the release of his highly anticipated single, “Birthday Song” featuring Kanye West, 2 Chainz spoke on a press call about the song.

“Basically ‘Birthday Song’ is a continuation of what I did with ‘Spend It’ what I did with ‘No Lie’. Bringing that kinda club energy, that feel good energy when it comes on. And hopefully gettin’ it to transcend to radio… But for the most part its a collaboration between me and ‘Ye, and I think its got the best of both worlds on there.” He continued, “It was produced by Sonny Digital and Kanye West. I’m excited about the record. At midnight we gunna release the dirty version… I’m in my own lane im not really thinkin’ about anybody, im in my own lane grindin’ it out.”

And as for his new album, he isn’t realeasing very many details. ”I havent released a lot of information about my album except that it’s good. im still considering droppin’ another song but i just dont wanna get in my own way sometimes. I’m just being very calculated and I feel like this is the next big song, ‘Birthday Song’ is the next big joint.”
